Louisville Unclaimed Property Roadshow: Dates, Locations and How to Claim Lost Money

Kentucky residents may have unclaimed money waiting for them, including old bank accounts, uncashed checks and forgotten insurance policies.

The Kentucky State Treasurer’s Office says more than $134 million in unclaimed property is connected to Louisville residents. Officials will host two free events in Jefferson County to help residents search for and claim the money.

Treasury staff will help visitors search the state database, learn whether they have unclaimed property and understand how to file a claim.
